When do uploads open and close?
The upload window depends on your plan and the event date. Here's exactly how it works.

Uploads are gated by your plan and the event date, not just by whether the QR still scans. This keeps things predictable and reflects plan or date changes you make after the QR was printed.
By plan
- Free and Single Event: uploads close roughly one day after the event date, giving guests time to add the shots they took that night.
- Unlimited: uploads stay open while the subscription is active.
- Lapsed / read-only: if a subscription ends, the event becomes read-only — you keep your photos, but new uploads are closed.

If a guest sees “Uploads for this event have closed,” the window has passed for the current plan. Upgrading or adjusting the event date reopens it where allowed.
