Creating and editing an event

Everything an event holds, and how to change its details after you've created it.

An event is the container for one celebration: its QR code and short code, guest list, invitations and RSVPs, the photo album, and the live slideshow. You can edit an event's details at any time from its overview page.

What you can change

  • The title and event date.
  • Whether the event is a draft or published.
  • Photo upload settings (via the connected Google Drive folder).
  • Slideshow visibility and moderation (see the Slideshow and Moderation categories).

Pro tip

Changing the event date also moves the upload window on the Free and Single Event plans — useful if your celebration is postponed.
