How guests join: code + name
Guests scan the QR, enter the event's short code and their name, and they're in — no app, no account.

Joining is deliberately simple. A guest scans the QR (or opens the public link), enters the event code printed on your poster, types their name, and lands on the upload page.
Why the name matters
The name a guest types is attached to every photo they upload. It powers the “filter by guest” view in your gallery and lets you moderate everything from one person in a single click. It also lets the slideshow auto-show the right people when you use Guest list or Selected mode.
Anyone with the code can upload — the code is the key. You decide separately whose photos appear on the slideshow (see the Slideshow category).
